The Positive Perspectives survey was an international survey of people living with HIV and their partners across nine countries representing countries of the global north.
The survey sought to explore 3 key themes
1. Psychosocial aspects of living with HIV
2. Health care provider and patient dialogue
3. Satisfaction with their current antiretroviral (ARV) treatment
Brent Allan will present the results of the survey, first launched at the International AIDS Society Conference in Paris in July. The results have now been presented at various regional conferences around the world and form the basis of a patient manifesto being launched on World AIDS Day 2017 called Living Beyond HIV: Taking a Positive Perspective produced by ViiV Healthcare.
