Our background

The GPLU was established on 9 May, 2016, within the Demand, Access and Management Service Line in the Division of Cancer Access and Support Services, as a result of many years of collaboration between Gold Coast Health and the Gold Coast Primary Health Network (PHN). The GPLU incorporated the standalone role of the GP Liaison Officer (GPLO) within a larger team.

  • Providing expert advice relating to quality improvement and clinical-related systems and procedures.
